This bench-top drop-weight impact tester provides a simple, repeatable way to evaluate a coating or substrate’s resistance to sudden impact. The guide column features a clear height scale from 0 to 1 meter (39.4 inch). Set your target height, lock the stop collar to repeat the setting, and use the release mechanism to drop the weight vertically onto the striker.

The rugged base/anvil keeps panels flat while clamping screws hold the specimen and center the impact point. A quick-lock striker holder accepts common interchangeable impact noses (flat, hemispherical, conical) used in Gardner/ASTM D2794-style methods, allowing you to match tip geometry to your standard or application.
